Shapes of numbers using triangles
It is easy to draw a net of equilateral triangles with compass and ruler.
Task.
For each whole number n from one to ten, draw a net of n equilateral triangles with sides one inch long. and cut it out from an index card, cardstock, or poster board. For the numbers 1, 2, and 3 there is only one such net. For the number 4 there are three nets. Can you draw all nets for the numbers 5 and 6? Be original and decorate your nets.
